Who can access these services

We see patients in the outpatient clinics at CPMCC Westmead and we also see inpatients in Westmead Hospital. There is no cost to see our team for people who have a current Medicare card.

We have a number of outpatient clinics available: three psychiatry clinics and two clinical psychology clinics.  In our clinics you may see trainees who work under our direct supervision.

How do you organise to see one of our Team?
  • A referral from one of your current treatment team is required to see a clinical psychologist at CPMCC Westmead, and in the first instance we suggest you discuss your concerns with any one of them.
  • People wishing to see our psychiatrist need to bring along a referral letter from their GP or other medical doctor.
  • If you wish to see us while you are an inpatient at the hospital, speak with your treating team and they can arrange a referral to one of us.

All outpatient referrals are triaged through a central point – fax to 02 8890 8567 Attention: bookings; or email to

We work as part of the multi-disciplinary teams at CPMCC Westmead and all our notes and records are stored in your CPMCC Westmead file. This means your treating team are aware of any relevant difficulties you might be having, without you having to repeat your story. If you have any concerns about privacy or confidentiality please don’t hesitate to speak with us.
